Katherine, from Birmingham, Alabama, joined the Bulgarian church-planting team in 2012 and has been serving in the new church plant, New Life Church. She is also working with the Daughters of Bulgaria, a ministry to women caught in exploitation and trafficking. The vision of Daughters of Bulgaria is to see the Church ignited, resourced, and mobilized in the fight against human trafficking. After serving on the outreach team to the prostituted women in Sofia, the Lord led Katherine and her team to create the Rose Garden Program, a long-term recovery-care program for women leaving exploitation.
Taylor served his hometown in Memphis, Tennessee, through working with an urban ministry known as Service Over Self. It was here that he first felt called to pursue international missions. In the summer of 2015 Taylor was hired by Grace Evangelical Church in Memphis, where he learned about MTW and felt his call to go overseas. After spending his first summer in Sofia as an intern, Taylor worked as an English Club instructor as well as taught at Sofia Christian Academy, a missionary co-op school.
