Tanner Crum – RUF Minister, Auburn University

RUF MINISTER, AUBURN UNIVERSITY

Tanner and Kelsey Crum come from Greenville, South Carolina. They attended the University of South Carolina, where they were first introduced to RUF as students. After college, they moved to Greenville, and Tanner worked as an RUF intern at Furman University. In 2015, Tanner began his seminary career at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, where he received his Master of Divinity. During this time, Kelsey founded a mobile dance outreach non-profit organization called Carolina Dance Collaborative. During his time in seminary, Tanner worked at Downtown Presbyterian Church and at Grace and Peace Presbyterian Church and was an Interim Campus Minister at Wofford College. Needless to say, they love RUF and are excited to be a part of the work God is doing at Auburn. Tanner and Kelsey have two young children: Spender (3/2019) and Heston (2/2022).

RUF is a community of students on Auburn’s campus who take God’s Word seriously and take following Jesus seriously, but they don’t take themselves too seriously. They want to be a place where anyone from any walk of life can feel a sense of belonging and experience what it’s like to be loved by God and by His people.
