Sav-A-Life, Inc is the oldest and largest pregnancy care ministry in Alabama. We are dedicated to putting an end to abortion by supporting one woman at a time, to spare her and her child from abortion.

We are now impacting families throughout the Birmingham Metro with three locations:

In 2019, Sav-A-Life Vestavia merged with the North Jefferson Women’s Center to form Sav-a-Life, Inc, so we can better serve the Birmingham Metro area.

In 2022, Sav-A-Life, Inc. opened our third location in the Crestwood neighborhood of Birmingham. Through these three locations, we will be able to serve more women, men, and families in every area of the city.

With three sites strategically located on every side of the metro area, we offer our clients both crisis care and long-term mentoring to support their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Our programs present clients with the good news of God’s love and equip them to succeed as individuals, spouses, and parents.

In 1984, God burdened the heart of Jenny Doss to reach women dealing with crisis pregnancies by starting a center in Shelby County, Alabama. Since the opening of its doors in 1985, thousands of lives have been saved.

Sav-A-Life Shelby’s mission is to develop a culture of life where abortion is unnecessary and undesirable in Shelby County while also offering the hope of the gospel.

The Pregnancy Resource Center of Sav-A-Life in Pelham, Alabama, offers help and hope through compassionate care and support. The center provides free and confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, abortion information, parenting classes, and material assistance. These are just some of the many services offered to empower women and men to make a life-affirming decision.
