Erik and Hara are planting the Breath of Life Church in the Neos Kosmos neighborhood of Athens, Greece. They are creating relationships within the neighborhood and serving families with an emphasis to children, youth, and mercy ministry. They are also focusing on evangelism and discipleship within the community. Each week Erik preaches and leads public worship.

In a post eastern orthodox context, Greeks might be culturally religious but also suspicious and opposed to the protestant church. Most neighborhoods in Athens do not have access to the gospel, so Breath of Life Church hopes to establish a permanent place that provides the neighborhood with gospel preaching.
