DESCRIPTION:You are invited to our annual Thanksgiving meal and service on November 16 from 5–7 p.m. \nWe have several volunteer needs for setup throughout the day Sunday. Please consider signing up to serve in these much needed roles. \nMake plans to arrive at the church by 4:30 or 4:45\, as we will begin the service at 5 p.m. exactly. We will start in various rooms throughout the church. KCs are grouped together\, and each KC grouping will gather in an assigned area for supper and the majority of the service. \nWhere do I go?\n\nExodus and Sojourners will gather in the FSM Space.\nGenesis and Common Ground will gather in room 151/152 (formerly 101/102).\nMosaic and Crossroads will gather in the Overlook Room.\nCovenant\, Cornerstone\, and Tapestry will gather in the Sanctuary.\n\nWhat to bring?\n\nLast names beginning with J-Z\, bring a homemade side (enough to serve 12 people) to be served alongside the BBQ and chicken fingers that the church is providing.\nLast names beginning with A-I\, bring a homemade dessert (enough to serve 12).\n\nWhat about childcare? \n\nNursery (infants through age 3) will be available for the whole service.\nChildren age 4 and above will participate in the service with their families. There will be no children’s activities.\n\nWhat is the full schedule for the evening? \n5:00 – Service begins via Livestream. We will start at tables without food. \n5:10 – Eat and a time for sharing\, with testimonies and/or prayers of gratitude. \n6:15 – Livestream begins again; Jason will read scripture and give a brief homily. \n6:45 – Everyone meets in the sanctuary. \n6:50 – Celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in the sanctuary. \n7:00 – Benediction and dismissal; return to KC rooms for clean up.

SUMMARY:Men's Pickleball Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Sign up here by April 30 to join the tournament. Please reach out to Bully at ashields@faith-pca.org with any questions. May the best team win!  \n  \nDates: May 5 – 30/31 (or May 5 – June 6/7) \n\nThere will be one round per week\, so you have one week (Monday-Sunday) to coordinate together and play a match\nThese dates are assuming we have a total of 16 teams. If there are more teams\, we will push everything back a week (i.e.\, the finals will be June 6 or 7\, as opposed to May 30 or 31).\n\n  \nDoubles teams only \n\nFind your own partner or sign up solo\, and you will be matched randomly.\nAn official tournament bracket will be sent on May 1.\n\n  \nSingle round elimination \n\nIf a match is not played\, it will be forfeited.\nEach round consists of one match played to 21 or three matches played to 15 — whatever both teams agree on\nPlease submit match results to Bully via email or text.\nMatches can be played at any time and any place that works for both teams.\nA list of suggested locations can be found here.\n\n  \nThe tournament will end week 4 (or 5) at the championship match\, and the finals will be the only match with a set time and place. Everyone who has participated will be invited to come watch the championship\, and we will have a plan to fellowship together afterwards.

SUMMARY:Easter at Faith
DESCRIPTION:Make plans for Good Friday and Easter at Faith. Our Good Friday Worship services (indoor) are on Friday\, April 18\, at 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. Our Easter Sunday services are on Sunday\, April 20\, with two outdoor services\, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. \nFor the Easter services\, we will have a stage with chairs set up around it on the pavement outside (See map below). A livestream will be available in the FSM overflow space this year if you are concerned about exposure to the elements. \n  \n \n  \nWhere should I park? \n\n\n\nNURSERY ONLY ENTRANCE: All families utilizing the nursery on Easter morning will use the Nursery Only entrance labeled in blue. This is also the construction entrance\, and will likely look unfamiliar to most. As you pull around to the back\, you will see signs directing you to the lower and upper parking lots. In the lower parking lot\, the portico will be used as a turn-around\, and in the upper lot\, there will be a place to turn around at the far end of the parking lot. Please do not block or park at these turn-around locations.\nOPEN PARKING: The paved lower lot on Valleydale Road will be used for open parking. Please note that traffic flow will be one way; you will enter on Valleydale and exit on Buckton as the map shows. There will also be open parking available at Jeff State\, Buckton Commons\, Providence Park\, and the gravel lot on the corner of Buckton Road and Caldwell Mill. All open parking is labeled green. If you are able\, please park at Jeff State to make traffic flow smoother on Sunday morning. \nACCESSIBLE PARKING: On Buckton Road\, we have an “Accessible Only” entrance labeled in purple. The traffic flow is also one way. You must enter from the Buckton Road entrance closest to Caldwell Mill (see map). You will then exit onto Buckton Road closest to Valleydale.\nSHUTTLES: We will have a shuttle bus and shuttle van operating on Sunday morning. The shuttles will pick up at the Jeff State parking lot and drop off on campus.\nPASSENGER DROP OFF: If you need to drop off passengers before you park\, please plan to stop at the drop off zone located in the accessible lot. Please note that traffic flow in the accessible lot is one way. You must enter from the Buckton Road entrance closest to Caldwell Mill (see map). You will then exit onto Buckton Road closest to Valleydale.\nPlease do not park along Buckton Road.\n\n\n\n  \nWhat about children? \n\n\n\nNursery will be provided for all four services up to age 3. We encourage our older children to participate in the service with their families.\n\n\n\n  \nAnything I should remember? \n\n\n\nThe seating area gets direct sunlight\, so plan to wear sunscreen and sunglasses if that’s a concern.\nPlease keep in mind that your heels could sink in damp grass or gravel.\n\n\n\n  \nWhat if it rains? \n\n\n\nWe are moving forward with our outdoor services as planned.

Holly Mackle\, author and teacher from OMPC\, will lead us through Old and New Testament promises of God to cover\, care for\, and refresh His church. We will examine God’s intention to dwell with His people as a theme that runs from the Old Testament to its fulfillment in Christ.
