DESCRIPTION:You are invited to our annual Thanksgiving meal and service on November 16 from 5–7 p.m. \nWe have several volunteer needs for setup throughout the day Sunday. Please consider signing up to serve in these much needed roles. \nMake plans to arrive at the church by 4:30 or 4:45\, as we will begin the service at 5 p.m. exactly. We will start in various rooms throughout the church. KCs are grouped together\, and each KC grouping will gather in an assigned area for supper and the majority of the service. \nWhere do I go?\n\nExodus and Sojourners will gather in the FSM Space.\nGenesis and Common Ground will gather in room 151/152 (formerly 101/102).\nMosaic and Crossroads will gather in the Overlook Room.\nCovenant\, Cornerstone\, and Tapestry will gather in the Sanctuary.\n\nWhat to bring?\n\nLast names beginning with J-Z\, bring a homemade side (enough to serve 12 people) to be served alongside the BBQ and chicken fingers that the church is providing.\nLast names beginning with A-I\, bring a homemade dessert (enough to serve 12).\n\nWhat about childcare? \n\nNursery (infants through age 3) will be available for the whole service.\nChildren age 4 and above will participate in the service with their families. There will be no children’s activities.\n\nWhat is the full schedule for the evening? \n5:00 – Service begins via Livestream. We will start at tables without food. \n5:10 – Eat and a time for sharing\, with testimonies and/or prayers of gratitude. \n6:15 – Livestream begins again; Jason will read scripture and give a brief homily. \n6:45 – Everyone meets in the sanctuary. \n6:50 – Celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in the sanctuary. \n7:00 – Benediction and dismissal; return to KC rooms for clean up.

DESCRIPTION:Make plans for Good Friday and Easter at Faith. Our Good Friday Worship services (indoor) are on Friday\, April 18\, at 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. Our Easter Sunday services are on Sunday\, April 20\, with two outdoor services\, at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. \nFor the Easter services\, we will have a stage with chairs set up around it on the pavement outside (See map below). A livestream will be available in the FSM overflow space this year if you are concerned about exposure to the elements. \n  \n \n  \nWhere should I park? \n\n\n\nNURSERY ONLY ENTRANCE: All families utilizing the nursery on Easter morning will use the Nursery Only entrance labeled in blue. This is also the construction entrance\, and will likely look unfamiliar to most. As you pull around to the back\, you will see signs directing you to the lower and upper parking lots. In the lower parking lot\, the portico will be used as a turn-around\, and in the upper lot\, there will be a place to turn around at the far end of the parking lot. Please do not block or park at these turn-around locations.\nOPEN PARKING: The paved lower lot on Valleydale Road will be used for open parking. Please note that traffic flow will be one way; you will enter on Valleydale and exit on Buckton as the map shows. There will also be open parking available at Jeff State\, Buckton Commons\, Providence Park\, and the gravel lot on the corner of Buckton Road and Caldwell Mill. All open parking is labeled green. If you are able\, please park at Jeff State to make traffic flow smoother on Sunday morning. \nACCESSIBLE PARKING: On Buckton Road\, we have an “Accessible Only” entrance labeled in purple. The traffic flow is also one way. You must enter from the Buckton Road entrance closest to Caldwell Mill (see map). You will then exit onto Buckton Road closest to Valleydale.\nSHUTTLES: We will have a shuttle bus and shuttle van operating on Sunday morning. The shuttles will pick up at the Jeff State parking lot and drop off on campus.\nPASSENGER DROP OFF: If you need to drop off passengers before you park\, please plan to stop at the drop off zone located in the accessible lot. Please note that traffic flow in the accessible lot is one way. You must enter from the Buckton Road entrance closest to Caldwell Mill (see map). You will then exit onto Buckton Road closest to Valleydale.\nPlease do not park along Buckton Road.\n\n\n\n  \nWhat about children? \n\n\n\nNursery will be provided for all four services up to age 3. We encourage our older children to participate in the service with their families.\n\n\n\n  \nAnything I should remember? \n\n\n\nThe seating area gets direct sunlight\, so plan to wear sunscreen and sunglasses if that’s a concern.\nPlease keep in mind that your heels could sink in damp grass or gravel.\n\n\n\n  \nWhat if it rains? \n\n\n\nWe are moving forward with our outdoor services as planned.

The Smart Giving Workshop has one goal: to help you lower your tax burden in order to increase the amount of money you can give away. At this workshop\, an experienced gift strategist will provide an introduction to estate planning concepts and tools\, and show participants how to maximize how much they can give for Kingdom impact by employing tax efficient giving strategies. Dinner will be provided. This workshop is not a fundraiser for Faith or the PCA Foundation. The goal is to get you helpful information about how to give smarter. \n  \nWe would encourage you to attend this workshop especially if you: \n\nOwn non-cash assets such as a business\, real estate or cryptocurrency\nAre experiencing elevated taxable income due to peak earning years\, bonuses\, inheritance\, or a liquidation event\nHave wealth to give\, but need the earnings on suc h wealth for life or some period of years.\nOwn investment real estate or a vacation home\nOwn highly appreciated stock or a large IRA\nAnticipate a final estate that significantly exceeds what they want to leave to children and other heirs\n\n  \n  \nLed by Tim Townsend\, PCA Foundation President\, and Sheldon Nordhues\, PCA Foundation Giving Strategist. \nThe PCA Foundation is an agency of our denomination that aims to enable Christians to give more to advance the Kingdom of Christ by giving tax efficiently. DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for our Christmas Eve services as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. This year\, we’ll offer three service times to accommodate you and your loved ones: \n\nMonday\, December 23 at 6:00 p.m.\nTuesday\, December 24 at 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.\n\nTake note of a few details as you make plans for this upcoming week: \n\nAll services will have the same liturgy and candlelight. We encourage you to choose one to attend.\nYou will be able to park in the new parking lot beginning this Sunday\, but not all of it will be paved or striped (see added parking below). No shuttle to and from Jeff State will be provided moving forward. A team of volunteers will be directing traffic so that we can best maximize our parking space. Thank you for continuing to be patient with us as things move along in construction!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur elevator is still out of service as we’re waiting for an upgraded replacement part. In the meantime\, please park in the lot closest to the Upper Gathering Hall to avoid the first floor.\nWe are doing everything we can to expedite the process and are hoping our elevator will be available for use again by December 29. Due to supply chain delays\, the needed part is taking longer to arrive than expected. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, November 17\, 5:00-7:00 p.m. for our annual Thanksgiving service. Keep reading for specific details on where to go\, what to bring\, and how the evening will flow.  \n  \nWe have several serving needs for chair and table set up\, decorations\, food line helpers\, and clean up. Please sign up here to help set up your room assignment. \n  \nHow will our service be structured?  \nThis year will be very similar to last year’s Thanksgiving Service. We will start in various rooms throughout the church. KCs are grouped together\, and each KC grouping will gather in an assigned area for supper and the majority of the service. \n At 6:45 p.m.\, all KCs will be dismissed to gather in the Sanctuary to celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.  \nAs in other years\, our service will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. with a Welcome\, Call to Worship\, and a song. We will then serve food\, eat together\, and share stories of thanksgiving. See below for the full service schedule.  \n  \nWill there be child care?  \nNursery (infants through age 4) will be available for the whole service. Pizza will be provided for children in the nursery\, or parents may pack and send a dinner. We ask that parents do not make plates in the food lines for nursery children.  \n  \nWhere should I go? \n\nCornerstone and Sojourners – FSM Space\nCovenant and Common Ground – 101/102 (downstairs near the cafe)\nGenesis and Mosaic – Overlook Room\nExodus\, Crossroads\, and Tapestry – Sanctuary\n\n  \nWhat if I don’t have a KC?  \nChoose a KC to join! Click HERE to read about our different Kingdom Community groups.  \n  \nWhat do I need to bring?   \n\nIf your last name begins with the letter A-O\, bring a homemade side (enough to serve 12 people) to be served alongside the BBQ and chicken fingers that the church is providing.\nIf your last name begins with P-Z\, bring a homemade dessert (enough to serve 12).  \n\n  \nWhat should I bring my food item in? Do I need to bring serving utensils as well? \nBring all food items in a disposable dish with disposable serving utensils. In order to make sure none of your items are lost and to help us in serving\, we’re asking everyone to bring and serve food with disposable items. If your items are not disposable\, please make sure that your name is on the dish.  \n  \nWhere should I bring my food on Sunday night? \nBring your food to your assigned room. There will be volunteers there to direct you where to put it.  \n  \nCan I reheat my food at the church? \nNo. We have limited oven capacity; please bring your food ready to eat. \n  \nWhat about parking?  \nSenior/Accessible and Nursery parking: Main Campus \nEveryone else: park at Jeff State. Shuttle service will be provided.\n \n  \nWhat is the full schedule for the evening? \n5:00 – Service begins via Livestream. We will start at tables without food.  \n5:10 – Eat and a time for sharing\, with testimonies and/or prayers of gratitude. \n6:15 – Livestream begins again; Jason will read scripture and give a brief homily.  \n6:45 – Everyone walks to the Sanctuary to sing and celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.  \n6:50 – Celebrate the Lord’s Supper together in the sanctuary. \n7:00 – Benediction and dismissal; return to KC rooms for clean up.
